What exercises can I do at home to help me prevent injury to my shoulder or as early intervention if I am starting to feel some shoulder pain?


One of the most efficacious exercises you can do are known as "Blackburn exercises". These strengthen the muscles that stabilize the shoulder blade, and are not only easy to do at home, but a critical part of a preventative program  for most professional throwing athletes.
